HORSE OPERA

Horse Opera is a Brooklyn-based production company founded by director and producer Giles Perkins. We partner with brands, agencies, and producers to develop and create films across documentary, narrative, and commercial formats.

A 2025 Sundance Ignite Fellow and Emmy-nominated filmmaker, Giles has directed and produced work for clients including The New York Times, Dior, Puma, New York Road Runners, KidSuper, and V Magazine. His films have screened at festivals including Woodstock, Nashville, and Atlanta.

The company’s films include Expiration Date, which premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Festival, and You’re Not So Lucky, which will have its world premiere in the Shorts Competition at DOC NYC in 2026.
